Apply for Unnati – Scholarship Programme for Women Engineering Students – India With a mission to encourage women to pursue an education and skill training in STEM courses, Rolls-Royce plans to financially support 150 female students to complete their engineering programme over the next 3 years.

The ‘Unnati’ Scholarship Program with CAF India and Buddy4Study provides financial support to 150 female students studying in 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of undergraduate engineering programmes. In addition, these students will also get an opportunity to shadow women engineers at Rolls-Royce as well as be mentored by Rolls-Royce engineers.

About the Program: ‘Rolls-Royce Unnati STEM Scholarship Program 2023-24’ is an initiative of Rolls-Royce India to provide financial assistance and education support to girl students to ensure continuity of their education. Under this scholarship program, girl students who are pursuing graduation (general and professional) courses in STEM subjects will be provided with a one-time fixed financial assistance of INR 25,000 to cover their academic expenses for the academic year.

This scholarship is being offered by Rolls-Royce India as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives that primarily focus on supporting and encouraging students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. The company also runs several projects to promote STEM learning programmes and skill development.

Eligibility:

  • Girl students studying in any year of graduation (general & professional) courses in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects are eligible.
  • Students must have secured minimum 55% marks in previous year/semester.
  • Annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 4,00,000 from all sources.
  • Students from PAN India can apply.
    NOTE: Existing Rolls-Royce Unnati scholars can be given preference.

Benefits: Each selected scholar will receive a one-time fixed scholarship of INR 25,000

  • Marksheet of previous educational qualification
  • Current academic year admission proof (fee receipt/admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate)
    *Bank account details of the scholarship applicant or parents (cancelled cheque/passbook copy)
