Newcastle University Business School offers the MBA Developing Talent and Leadership Scholarship, providing financial support for MBA candidates who possess the potential to shape the future of organizations. With awards of up to £13,000, this scholarship is payable towards the cost of tuition fees.
Up to 24 awards are available for the September 2024 intake, and the scholarship is valid for one year of postgraduate study. The aim is to reward MBA candidates who are results-oriented, customer-focused, and can demonstrate leadership qualities and values.
To be eligible for this partial-fee scholarship, applicants must meet certain criteria. This includes demonstrating substantive managerial experience and good leadership potential through the application and interview process. Additionally, candidates must hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for admission to the Full-time MBA program in 2024, have at least 3 years of managerial experience, and possess the equivalent of a UK 2:1 honors degree. Applicants who do not meet the academic requirement but can demonstrate relevant work experience and significant career progression may also be considered.
The selection process includes an interview where candidates will be assessed across all competency areas. Proficiency in English is required, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or its equivalent, and no subskill below 6.0 for non-native English speakers.
No separate application is required for this scholarship. All candidates will be automatically assessed during the interview process, and the scholarship amount will be confirmed via email once the course offer is received.
