Introduction to the Children’s Centre
The Children’s Centre of Integral Education, established on February 21, 1975, has played a significant role in the educational landscape. This institution focuses on the comprehensive development of children, providing them with a well-rounded educational experience. Over the years, it has continually adapted its curriculum and methodologies to meet the evolving needs of its students.
Amalgamation with Sri Aurobindo Education and Welfare Society
On March 31, 1994, the Children’s Centre of Integral Education was amalgamated into the Sri Aurobindo Education and Welfare Society (SAEWS). This change marked a new chapter in its history, enabling the centre to enhance its resources and support. As an autonomous society registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 (registration number KRD/6261-480 of 1994-95), SAEWS ensures that the educational framework aligns with contemporary educational standards.
The Current Vision and Mission
Today, the Children’s Centre continues to function as a significant unit under SAEWS, emphasizing integral education that nurtures not just academic achievement but also emotional and social skills. With its dedicated approach, the centre remains committed to fostering an environment where children thrive academically, socially, and personally.
In summary, the legacy and ongoing commitment of this Centre shine brightly in its mission to nurture future generations. The amalgamation with SAEWS has fortified its ability to create a holistic educational environment, ensuring that the centre remains a beacon of integral education.
