The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program is designed to support Indian nationals pursuing undergraduate courses at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to eligible students, ensuring that they can continue their education without financial hindrances.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

To qualify for the SBIF Asha Scholarship, applicants must meet specific criteria. Firstly, they should be Indian nationals enrolled in any year of an undergraduate course at an IIT in India. Additionally, students must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in their previous academic year.

Another crucial requirement is the gross annual family income, which must not exceed INR 6,00,000. However, priority is given to candidates with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per year. The program also aims for gender inclusivity, reserving 50% of the slots for female applicants. Moreover, individuals belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) will receive preference during the selection process.
