Hand in Hand India, an international NGO based in India, is dedicated to empowering women, educating children, providing healthcare access, combating climate change, creating jobs, and nurturing social entrepreneurship. As part of their efforts to promote women empowerment through education, the NGO has introduced the Siksha Mitra Scholarship Scheme for BE/BTech students.
This scholarship scheme aims to support female students in completing their undergraduate studies. To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum of 40% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12. The scholarship is open to students pursuing a full-time undergraduate course in BE/BTech. Additionally, the family income of the applicant should be less than INR 500,000.00.

The application deadline for the Siksha Mitra Scholarship Scheme is 10th April 2024. Successful applicants can receive a scholarship amount of up to INR 40,000.00 for the financial year 2023-2024.
