The Disha Scholarship Program, an initiative of Birlasoft, is dedicated to supporting female students pursuing General/Professional Undergraduate courses by providing them with financial assistance. The program aims to empower these students in their educational journey and facilitate their successful completion of their academic pursuits.
Eligibility for the Disha Scholarship Program is open to female students who are enrolled in the first year of a general undergraduate/bachelor’s degree program at a recognized/affiliated college or university in the academic year 2023-24. Additionally, applicants must be domiciled in Delhi-NCR and Pune. Preference will be given to candidates who are enrolled in top NIRF colleges or recognized universities/colleges.
To be eligible, candidates must have achieved a minimum aggregate score of 65% or an equivalent CGPA in the Grade 12 board examination from Delhi-NCR and Pune in 2023. Furthermore, the annual family income of applicants from all sources should not exceed INR 5 lakh. Applicants must also fall within the age bracket of 17 to 29 years at the time of submitting their applications.
It is important to note that children of employees affiliated with Buddy4Study, Samhita, and BirlaSoft are not eligible to participate in the Disha Scholarship Program.
Selected recipients of the scholarship will receive financial support of up to INR 25,000 annually. The program aims to alleviate the financial burden on female students, enabling them to focus on their studies and achieve their academic goals.
