Newcastle University Business School is offering the MBA Advancing Women in Leadership Scholarship, providing a full fee award of £31,000 towards the cost of tuition fees. This scholarship aims to support innovative business women who aspire to higher levels of influence and professional development.
The scholarship is open to female candidates who hold an offer for admission to the Full-time MBA program in 2024. In addition, applicants must have at least 3 years of substantive managerial experience and hold the equivalent of a UK 2:1 honours degree. Applicants who do not meet the academic requirement but can demonstrate relevant work experience and significant career progression may also be considered.
To apply, candidates need to complete an online application form and submit an essay of no more than 1,500 words in response to a given question. The essay should be in English. The School’s MBA Scholarship Committee will review all applications and essays.
Successful candidates will not only receive the scholarship but also benefit from mentoring support provided by a member of the Senior Leadership Team. This additional support aims to further enhance the professional development and career trajectory of the recipients.
The scholarship application deadline is 12 April 2024, with the possibility of an extension if a suitable candidate is not found. Eligible offer holders will receive links to the application form via email.
