Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation Scholarships for PG Students:The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation is a non-profit organization set up by an endowment from Mr. Narotam Sekhsaria, a visionary entrepreneur with a strong sense of social commitment.
A University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT) graduate with distinction, he promoted Gujarat Ambuja Cements and led the organisation to become the most efficient cement company in India.
In 2002, he established the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation to undertake activities in the areas of health, education and employment generation by designing its own programmes and also by partnering with other organizations to support their projects.
His vision to recognize and promote intellectual excellence gave birth to this scholarship programme.
The Foundation, through its scholarship for post-graduation, aims at enabling meritorious students to pursue postgraduate studies at prestigious institutions in India and abroad.
What are the eligibility criteria for the Postgraduate Scholarships?
Indian nationals, residing in India.
Applicants below 30 years of age
Graduates of an accredited Indian University (students in the final year of the degree course, or those awaiting results are also eligible)
Applicants planning to pursue Master’s, PhD degree at top ranking institutions starting Fall semester
Applicants who have applied and waiting on their acceptance from the university are also eligible to apply but the award of scholarship is subject to securing admission

The programme offers full and part scholarships as interest-free loans. The Scholarship is awarded to selected scholars who meet the high standards defined by the Foundation.

The NSF Scholarship Programme is designed for students of academic excellence pursuing postgraduate studies at prestigious institutions in India or abroad. It is a merit-based scholarship, awarded to a select few, who meet the high standards defined by the Foundation.
Menotor Programming: Selected scholars are assigned a mentor to guide them in their development as professionals, and motivate them to strive for excellence. In the long run, we expect those we mentor to take on the role of mentoring the next generation of scholars. Our mentorship programme aims to create a community of scholars that can draw on each other’s strengths and knowledge.

The application process at the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation assess the students applying for its interest-free PG scholarship loan which follows a rigorous assessment system. The scholarship, each year, is awarded to a set of Indian students who have a consistently high academic record.
