Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships: Half of India’s population, or over 600 million Indians, are under the age of 25. Reliance Foundation is committed to strengthening young people’s access to higher education in India. The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships aim to support up to 5,000 meritorious students based on a merit-cum-means criteria for their undergraduate college education, empowering them to continue their studies without financial burden. The Scholarships aim to enable students to become successful professionals and realize their dreams, unlocking their potential to lift themselves and their communities up and contributing towards India’s future socio-economic development.

Students with a household income of under Rs.15 lakh who are enrolled in first year of their undergraduate studies pursuing any subject stream can apply. The programme will also aim to encourage applications by girls and specially-abled students.

Selected scholars will receive a scholarship of up to 2 lakhs over the duration of their degree programme. In addition to the scholarship grant, the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships will provide scholars an opportunity to be part of a vibrant alumni network and an enabling support system that will create long-term impact on their lives and career trajectories.

Scholarships for UG for all streams

Support meritorious students from all corners of the country with an undergraduate college education
For first year students studying any stream of their choice
Awarded on a merit-cum-means basis to meritorious students
Up to 5,000 undergraduate scholars will be selected
The total amount of scholarship available over the duration of the degree programme, will be up to Rs/INR 2 Lakhs
Scholarship will go beyond financial support, with students automatically gaining networking opportunities through a strong alumni network

You must fulfil the following eligibility criteria in order to apply:
Be a resident Indian citizen

Passed Standard 12th with minimum 60%

Currently enrolled in 1st year regular full-time degree course in any stream

Students having House Hold income < Rs. 15 Lakhs (preference given to < Rs. 2.5 Lakhs)

Aptitude Test is mandatory

Following students are not eligible:
Students who are in the 2nd year or higher

Students pursuing their degree through online, remote, distance or any other non-regular modes

Students who have passed diploma after std. 10th

Students pursuing 2 year undergraduate degree courses

Students who do not answer the mandatory aptitude test or are found cheating during the test

Applications for the 2023-2024 scholarships to be closed on 17th December 2023
